The Office of the Municipal Accountant is responsible for maintaining the financial records of the municipal government in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, government accounting rules, and relevant laws. It ensures that all financial transactions are properly recorded, monitored, and reported, promoting transparency, accountability, and fiscal
