About Office of the Public Employment Service Officer
The Municipal PESO is responsible to constitute the National Public Employment Service Network that shall be linked to the Regional Office of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for Coordination and Technical Supervision.
The PESO aims to ensure prompt and efficient delivery of employment
facilitation services as well as to provide timely information on labor market DOLE programs. They also assisted the Special Programs for the Employment of Students (SPES), DOLE Government Internship Program (DOLE-GIP) and Tulong Pangkabuhayan para sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) beneficiaries.

Acts as a referral and matching center for local and overseas employment, connecting qualified jobseekers directly with employers.
