The Office of the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator (MPDC) serves as the technical and advisory arm of the local government in matters related to development planning, investment programming, project development, and policy formulation. The office ensures that local plans are aligned with regional and national development goals, and coordinates with various departments and stakeholders in planning and implementing programs and projects.
