The Office of the Municipal Assessor is responsible for the discovery, listing,
classification, appraisal, and assessment of all real properties—such as land, buildings, and machinery—within the municipality for the purpose of taxation. The office ensures that all real properties are assessed fairly and equitably, in accordance with existing laws and guidelines set by the national government.
