The Local Government Unit of Sto. Tomas formally conducted the Commission on Audit (COA) Entrance Conference, reaffirming the municipality’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and sound fiscal management. The conference was attended by Mayor Leandro Antonio Talaue, Vice Mayor Antonio Talaue, and Municipal Administrator Aileen Uychutin, represented by Municipal Cooperative Officer Rhoda Ceralde, together with the heads of the various municipal departments, including the Municipal Accountant, Municipal Treasurer, Municipal Budget Officer, Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator, Municipal Engineer, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer, General Services Officer, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer, and Human Resources Management Officer.
The event was graced by distinguished guests from the Commission on Audit (COA), namely Dominique M. Salas, Supervising Auditor, and Michael C. Galasinao, Audit Team Leader, along with COA audit team members Maria Lourdes C. Siquian, Wilfredo P. Torfo, and Bernard F. Canero.
The conference provided an opportunity to discuss audit priorities, strengthen collaboration, and uphold the principles of good governance in the delivery of public service.
